Don't you just hate it when you get a cool new feat/ability/piece of equipment but when you actually try to use it you roll badly? That's the worst! When playing Pathfinder I got the feat "Scorpion Style" but when I tried to use it I rolled poorly. It didn't help that I was playing a fighter, not a monk, so really it was a bad feat choice that I later changed.

As a note, there likely won't be a comic for next Thursday or Monday. I've got some personal stuff going on (nothing huge, don't worry) that will make it hard to make strips for the next week or so. But maybe I'll surprise myself and get something done anyway.

Preaching to the choir there, pal.

Also the last panel is a little choppy to me. Anyone else?

Aye, I wasn't quite sure if that was an artifact from screen-capping and/or if it was supposed to have some sort of significance. ^^'

As for the thing about new "toys" in-game and rolling poorly, I echo the sentiment. On the bright side, in some systems, you can take a bit of insurance against it, at least. Off the top of my head, GURPS has an Advantage (Feat) called "Luck" (re-roll with a cooldown).

There have been a couple ‘choppy’ frames so far actually, but considering the series he’s working with is a high speed action animated series, some shots are going to likely wind up a little ‘off’. So cut the guy some slack.

Yup, it's definitely choppy. For some reason the frames didn't come through as cleanly around this episode, and I haven't had a chance to regather the frames.
But as always I appreciate the feedback!

No worries. I wasn't trying to be critical, anyway. My computer has been acting up and I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me(although you could always play it like the dice rolled off the table so the attack didn't render properly in their heads).
